The current merge workflow runs in your browser, so your PDFs never leave your device. This is the same reason the tool keeps working on flaky connections and is safe for confidential documents.
You can merge as many as your browser will hold in memory at once. Most laptops cope with several hundred pages without trouble; if you hit limits with very large files, compress them first or split the job into two passes.
Page content is preserved as-is. Document-level metadata such as bookmarks, outlines, and form fields may be flattened in the merged output. Save your originals if you need to keep editable forms.
The basic workflow is designed to stay free. Paid upgrades later will focus on bigger limits, batch work, OCR, saved presets, and ad-free use.
